CEA and Google Showcase Technology at Presidential Debates

CEA partnered with Google at the presidential and vice presidential debates to provide voters with insightful and compelling information. “Insights from the 2012 Debates” aimed to enhance the debate experience using Google’s innovative technologies to provide snapshots of how citizens are using technology to engage with and learn about the presidential and vice presidential candidates as well as top issues during each of the debates. The CEA-Google effort included a state-of-the-art digital wall, displayed at each of the four debates, which showed search and video trends, insights and consumer research. The digital wall featured the top search trends around the debates and user-generated content from Google+. “Insights from the 2012 Debates” builds upon Google’s efforts to connect voters around the country with the latest election-related news and activities.

CEA’s Board of Industry Leaders unanimously voted to endorse the consensus opinion of CEA’s “4K” Working Group recommending the term and related performance attributes.
