Description:
The webcast will provide an overview of the updated TechHome Rating System (THRS), a powerful new nationally-recognized build-to specification for residential technology infrastructure. THRS explains at a glance the level of technology infrastructure -- also known as structured wiring -- that is present, or could be installed, in a home. Keeping it simple, THRS is based on three defined levels: bronze, gold and platinum; taking a good, better, best approach.
A core goal of TechHome and the THRS is to enhance the perceived value of homes having installed technology infrastructure. THRS seeks to remove the complexity, difficulties and frustrations that often results between homeowners, builders and electronic systems contractors (ESCs) over just what kinds of technology are offered and how much technology infrastructure is needed. THRS seeks to help ESCs and builders develop more productive and solid business relationships, while creating new business opportunities for both among consumers.
Learn how the TechHome Rating System can create new business opportunities for you.
Participants will:
- Receive the new bronze, gold and platinum "build-to" guidelines
- Learn how to increase business opportunities by using the TechHome Rating System
- Learn best practices for implementing the TechHome Rating System

Who should attend:
Anyone selling and installing technology infrastructure and consumer electronics products: electronic systems contractors (ESCs), electronic systems technicians (ESTs), integrators, custom installers (CIs), retailers, home security professionals, builders and remodelers.
